Through my passion of self discovery, I have always needed to move with determination and on my own path. Through being a city firefighter and a franchise business owner, I have forged my way through a path in life that is unordinary. The typical storyline of getting married and having children has never been something in my vision. I truly believe that ever person has a purpose on earth which is found through self.
My art has passionate, lyrical lines which incase florally picturesque oil paintings. My work incase the true meaning of individuality of me and my feminism. My own journey. My own path. The path of my work has changed into more abstract sunset work. I love the way things have morphed for the paint I put on canvas, just like the way my life has changed dramatically when I had to leave the fire service.
I don’t question as to why my work has changed, I would almost question more if it had not.
